Boys to Men, This One’s for You

Whether you’re in need of a mancation or seeking some quality time with your family, ‘Tween Waters Inn has just what you need.

We’ve Got Your Back

How does a Deep Tissue Massage sound? (The answer is AHHHHH.) There is nothing better to relieve soreness, and the trained masseuses at ‘Tween Waters Spa work magic. And, have you ever had a massage of your feet and calves, and some buffing and trimming on those manly toes? It’s called a pedicure, but no one has to know. My brother says that pedicures are the best kept secret – he loves them, and he’s 6’5” and 285lbs. You want to tell him he’s wrong?

For the Golfer

Tee it up at the 18-hole championship Sanibel Island Golf Club. You’ll even receive a 10% discount when you show your room key from ‘Tween Waters Inn.

Reel Fun

If you love fishing (and who doesn’t?), ‘Tween Waters Inn can hook you up. You can rent your own boat or book a trip with a captain who knows where the fish like to hang out.

Hot Tubs

It may not be a time machine but it can take you back to stress-free times. Ease on in and bubble your cares away. There are two hot tubs to choose from on the pool deck.

Game On

If there’s a game on TV, you can catch it at the Crow’s Nest, along with your favorite cold beverage.

Sharp Dressed Man

Clean shirt, new shoes…you know the song, but did you know The Pelican’s Roost is filled with top quality clothing? This onsite shop has all kinds of nautical clothes and accessories.

Pump You Up

You won’t have to miss a single workout, if that’s your thing. You’ll find your favorite equipment in the Fitness Center. Or, just chill by the pool (oh wait, that’s my thing)!

So, take a break from the bbq, the honey-do lists, and car repairs, and get yourself over here. And to all the dads out there, Happy Father’s Day.

Watching The Sunrise On The First Morning Of Your Stay

Soft serene sunrise at 'Tween Waters Inn overlooking Pine Island Sound, Captiva Island, FL

Sunrise Boating from 'Tween Waters Inn on Captiva Island, FL

Oh Happy Day!

While sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico from ‘Tween Waters Inn are spectacular and famous worldwide, a stay at the resort on Captiva Island offers guests something more that’s similar, and just as special. It offers you an insider’s view of the glorious sunrises every morning at the marina overlooking the Bay to the east.

_____

Begin your visit with a plan on the first night, to take in the sunrise when you wake up the next day. You may be ready for a good night’s sleep, so plan to sleep well and set an early alarm for when it’s still dark and dawn is on the horizon.

_____

After you’re up take a leisurely stroll down to the Marina. Aside from yourself, you’ll find the baitfish wake up first causing ripples in the smooth water. The birds begin to fly, and on our recent trip we saw a manatee bobbing to the surface at the water entrance to the marina.

We also noticed a couple on a nearby dock using equipment to view birds from a distance. Boaters moved around, dogs went for walks, people went fishing, and other guests appeared along the water’s edge, too. Bring your phone or camera; throw on your comfy clothes and go.

From the Observation deck on the dock at 'Tween Waters Inn the views are wonderful, especially in the morning.

You are going to be totally energized after watching the most serene sunrise around. The panoramic display above the trees and on the water lasts about twenty to thirty minutes. Look for the observation deck stairs, where the dock turns right. From up there you can relax and watch everything come to life.

After the sun rises, you’ll love having breakfast in the Captiva House dining room. Located on the beach side of the resort, it’s the place where there are always treasured views of the Gulf to take in, as guests come and go from the Gift Shop and Crow’s Nest restaurant, as well.

When you wake up, look forward to the Continental breakfast buffet that is complimentary for guests only. The morning buffet at ‘Tween Waters Inn features fresh fruits, pastries and more. Best of all, breakfast favorites served with the sunrise will be waiting for you every morning of your stay. Enjoy!
