In 1926 Tween Waters Inn opened it’s doors for business to the first guests.  Many famous travelers, such as Teddy Roosevelt, Ann & Charles Lindberg, J.N. Ding Darling, and Roger Tory Peterson, were among our first visitors.  Today, Tween Waters Inn, Captiva Island, has 138 units, both modern rooms and cozy “theme” cottages, nestled amid 14 acres of lush, tropical landscaping, and 6 miles of unspoiled, private, white sand beaches.  The Inn is located between two breath-taking water views…the Gulf of Mexico on the West side and Pine Island Sound & the Roosevelt Channel on the East.
